The Saf-Escape ladder selection covers most wall thickness ranges. The ladders are manufactured in three different sizes: 10 inch hooks for walls up to 10 inches, 16 inch hooks for walls from 10 to 14 inches, 20 inch hooks for walls from 14 to 18 inches
However, excessive overhangs (more than 3 inches) of the sill might lead to an incorrect fit of the ladder.

Deployment of these fire escape ladders is both quick and simple. They are placed over the window sills, requiring no bolts or screws.
The ladders unravel tangle-free and include 5 pairs of rung posts for the 15 ft ladder, 8 pairs for the 25 foot ladder and 13 pairs for the 45ft ladder. These rung posts ensure that the fire escape ladder is kept a suitable distance from the wall.
